LandPartners Underground Service Locating Services
Our Locators are also qualified Surveyors (with Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere training), so included in a LandPartners a No-Dig Locate:
- We survey the Located Services in relation to coordinated Survey Control marks.
- For Confined Spaces such as chambers and pits, we can remotely 3D Laser Scan to limit entry, and if necessary, safely manage the entry to measure and document services and conditions inside chambers and along pipework.
- Coordinate and relate sub-surface to complement the surface survey.
- A LandPartners No-Dig Locate can provide comprehensive surface and sub-surface 3D mapping and imagery.
- The typical No-Dig Locate Deliverable includes onsite markings + a CAD model of 2D and 3D data + PDF plans + Report of results with recommendations of areas where NDD Potholing will confirm the No-Dig results.
For more comprehensive risk mitigation, we recommend a Non-Destructive Dig Locate:
- In addition to the No-Dig Locate services, LandPartners also engages reputable and environmentally responsible Vacuum Excavation Contractors to safely Pothole and expose No-Dig Located services by Non-Destructive Digging (NDD).
- Once exposed, we accurately survey the Potholed services to AS5488 Quality A classification including Depth of Cover, Asset Material and Condition. We also photograph and record the exposed asset.
- LandPartners coordinates and manages all Vacuum Excavation (“Potholing”), Traffic Control requirements and any Duty of Care Permits or Supervision that may be required by Asset owners, to execute a complete NDD Locate.
- The typical NDD Locate Deliverables includes the No-Dig Locate Deliverables plus an extensive Report plus Geo-Referenced imagery to identifying areas of High Latent Condition Risk, plus if required, interactive Mapping.
